A major free international event focused on digital media, creative and commercial opportunities in convergence. # 3 of the annual CIDF is firmly focused on business and developing new markets. There is no charge for Registration, the Networking Dinner or any other part of the programme.
EATS comprises two days of pitching, debate, showcasing and networking with top industry names from entertainment television, video games and connected television. It’s aim is to capture in one place the dynamic synergies that are driving new business as digital media converge.
Set in the beautiful Cambridge Judge Business School and with a Networking Dinner at Christ’s College, Thursday 24th – Friday 25th March, 2011.

Who should come:
The event will be of interest to those whose business is looking towards the dynamism of converging media. Whether your starting point is television, games or computing, at EATS you’ll meet your fellow travellers on the convergence path.
Please apply for a ticket by selecting 'Apply Audience Ticket' above. Audience will be selected in order to ensure a suitable mix of participants on the day.
Pitchers
EATS invites applications for entertainment TV formats that effectively use digital media in support of the core television concept.
Twelve innovative and exciting format pitches will be selected to fine tune their pitch with Crossover Labs prior to a SEVEN minutes pitch to a distinguished TV industry panel.
Applications are open to all formats creators, with a maximum application of two projects per company.

Pitching applications will be forwarded to Kingston Smith W1 for the selection process.
Project applications will be emailed to the Scrutineer, media accountants Kingston Smith W1. The selection of projects to be pitched will be made by independent Jury of industry professionals whose decision will be final.
What to submit
One side of A4 paper – this page will be published unchanged in the catalogue. Applicants should therefore consider its design and ensure it contains all the information they wish to present.
The one page may include
· Title
· Genre, number of episodes, target audience, preferred timeslot
· Description
· Brief details of any research, back-up material pilot/pitch pilots
· Key personnel, company details and experience
· Copyright and contact details

Directions to Cambridge Judge Business School
By Rail
Cambridge is 48 minutes by train from London King's Cross. Trains from Liverpool Street take slightly longer. Train timetables and links to information on other routes are available at: National Rail.
Cambridge Judge Business School is a ten-minute taxi ride from the rail station.

By Coach

By Road
From the south, leave the M11 at Junction 11. This exit road will eventually become Trumpington Street. Cambridge Judge Business School is located on the right hand side, shortly after two mini-roundabouts, facing the Fitzwilliam Museum.
From the north, leave the A1 at the A14 (Junction 14). Continue on the M11, and exit at Junction 12 onto the A603. Follow the A603 into Cambridge, and at the roundabout at Newnham Road, take the 2nd exit onto the A1134 (the Fen Causeway), then at the next roundabout take the first exit on Trumpington St. The School is located on the right hand side, facing the Fitzwilliam Museum.
By Air
Cambridge is:
· 37 minutes from London Stansted Airport
· 1 hour 4 minutes from London Luton Airport
· 1 hour 45 minutes from London Gatwick Airport
· 1 hour 30 minutes from London Heathrow Airport
There is a direct train from Stansted to Cambridge which takes around 35 minutes. Alternatively National Express have coaches making regular trips from all four London airports to Cambridge (National Express Airport Transfers).
Parking
There is metered parking along Trumpington Street, or you may prefer to park at the Grand Arcade car park (Grand Arcade Car Park), which is just five minutes' walk from the School. If you are staying for longer than a few hours, we recommend that you use one of Cambridge's five park and ride sites (Cambridge Park and Ride), where a bus takes you from a site on the outskirts of Cambridge to the city centre bus station, which is less than ten minutes' walk from the School.
